My wonderful husband, out of the blue, came home with the most gorgeous yellow roses tipped with glorious hues of red and pink.

As the roses faded this red became even more pronounced.

Yellow viening became more visible as she started to wither.
Of course I had to take pictures and recreate her on paper, so she would live forevah!
She is one of my favorites and was created in record time-almost 3 months!
I love to paint large and continue to paint in this format wether it be weeks or months to capture the details of life well spent.
